What are you projecting?

Words are very impactful. “for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12:37‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Word: a single distinct meaningful element of speech or writing; or a person's account of the truth. What you say can be meaningful and could have a positive or negative impact on someone. Words are the songs of truth you sing from your mouth. Because what you speak often times projects into actions, which reflect your hearts intentions. Actions are the bigger picture that showcase your love, loyalty, or feelings towards another. But don’t think your words only have an affect on others, because how u talk and treat someone else is really just a projection of how you feel about your own self. So by speaking harmful words towards others you’re not only causing yourself more heartbreak and misery, but now you’re affecting someone else’s life too because you don’t address the deeper issue. “Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:24‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Are you being loving towards yourself? Are you giving yourself time to breathe? Are u telling yourself that you’re beautiful, capable, strong, creative, kind, etc... What are u telling yourself? Because from personal experience I know how words can be damaging and most times not even from what others say, it’s simply from the fact that I tear myself down. Like I GET IT, your minds a minefield, and it’s hard to navigate your way through life without stepping on an explosive, I get it. I also know that God loves me. Goodness, like He loves me and you so much that he sent his one and only son to die on a cross full of sins in order to save me and you so that we can live a great and meaningful life. (John 3:16) Like come on that’s insane and I also know that nothing, NOTHING, will ever separate us from his love. “No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:37-39‬ ‭NLT‬‬ So yes look, maybe you speak some words you’re not proud of and that’s okay, because your life’s not over, you’re still breathing and enabled for change! So don’t think you can’t fix your ways you can! Gods a gracious God, one of second chances and He’s rooting for you to come to Him.

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭ You will be made new! So don’t be scared, reach out to Christ and He will welcome you with open arms! (Read Luke 15:11-32 about the lost son and how he returned home and was welcomed) And if you are one who shares gentle words keep doing so! Be the example the world needs, that your friends need, and that your family, and maybe even strangers need! Be the light and keep on shinning! Because if you aren’t growing to live a peaceful, humble, and encouraging life, your deeds will be exposed and that won’t be a pretty one to be unveiled if you’re living thoughtlessly and rudely. So go out there and make a difference, start the change of spreading love towards those around you. Much love
