I came across this verse in Matthew 7:1-2 it says, “Do not judge, so that you won’t be judged. For you will be judged by the same standard with which you judge others, and you will be measured by the same measure you use.”

And I know that verse might not completely relate to the text in the photo, but to me, it makes sense. It makes sense because I saw this verse and commented in my Bible, “What’s the line between expressing hurt, and judging? When you wish good towards someone and not bad. Don’t hate on others as they have hated on you. But when you express hurt, forgive, love, and move on. And that is the line. Expressing hurt is bringing forth your pain and still wishing someone the best. Judging is criticizing that person and bringing them down.”

And as I looked back on this text I realized, God brought me this before I even knew I had to walk it out. He showed me I had to love, even when someone does me wrong. And not long after I read this verse I experienced pain. A pain I had to learn to love through and accept with peace and confidence. I had to walk out the verse and show I loved, even if. And what I love about it is that God built the foundation I needed before I even needed it. He poured truth into me at a time before He knew I would need it the most.

And I’m here today to tell you, what is God speaking to you right now? Is he building a foundation you might need later on? Look towards him. Seek his presence. And pay attention to the foundation builder at work. Because you will need to know how he built you, so you can go back and trust that what is there is all you need to keep you strong.
